1st Monday of the month at 7:30pm.

Drawing inspiration from John Eldredge’s “Wild at Heart,” this gathering honors the ancient tradition of discovering strength, laughter, and purpose through shared experiences.Whether you’re embarking on this journey for the first time or continuing your path, we welcome you to join us as we ignite this movement within our community and inspire dads to thrive.

2nd Meeting 5/11/2022 with Community Leaders

Update: 5/11/2022

We gathered a number of interested people, who had attended the November Panel for a followup/next steps meeting on Wed May 11th. Lots of good conversation took place and action steps are beginning to be mapped out.

  1. Develop a survey that will be mailed to all area agencies to determine needs and current programs being provided to area fathers.
  2. APP will send out a second survey to men who have participated in our programs to determine their current needs to be successful.
  3. Continue to develop a steering committee to engage conversations. Have scheduled the next meeting for 7/13 @ 7:30am at the Greens Conference/Brethern Care. RSVP here

Fatherhood Community Lunch & Learn – November 2021

In November ’21 Parenting Plus hosted a community forum focused on father engagement. FLAME Community Conversations. That conversation brought together people who care about fathers and family well-being for a conversation to discuss how best to support and encourage father involvement.

This gathering is a collaborative sponsored by Parenting PlusUnited Way of Ashland County and the Rotary Club of Ashland. The purpose is to will explore why dads’ involvement matters so much, where there are opportunities to improve father supports in Ashland , and how you can help fathers become great dads.
