Strengthening Families Program 1/18/24

“The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is an evidence-based family skills training program for high-risk and general population families that is recognized both nationally and internationally. Parents and youth attend weekly SFP skills classes together, learning parenting skills and youth life and refusal skills. Staff Christmas Retreat

Today Advocates For Families had their Staff Christmas Enrichment! There was group bonding activities, riddles, a gift exchange, batteries, Chipotle, and a cookie decorating contest. LifeSkills – Equine Experience

For the past number of summers, Parenting Plus has offered a unique 2 week experience with daily seminars on practical skills that all young adults should know. Each day the participants begin with a light lunch and then lean into a theme for the day. Topics include communication car repair with a visit to Bill Harris Dealerships leadership training through Equine Therapy with Ginny Telego at Collaborative Partners a college campus visit at Ashland University working in a wood workshop…
